Upcoming Trainings

Level 1: The Female Internal Pelvic Floor (Certification Course)

Offered annually in the spring, Anna continues the teaching legacy of Leslie Stager by training professionals in internal pelvic bodywork. This is a comprehensive certification program that practically and ethically equips professionals to incorporate internal pelvic floor treatment into their existing practices.

Level 2: The Pelvic Fascial Network (Advanced Training)

Coming in fall of 2027, advanced training is available for those already certified to practice internal pelvic bodywork. Topics: endopelvic fascial network, bony and visceral ligaments (including bladder and uterine alignment), scar tissue remediation for pelvic and abdominal (visceral) tissues, kinetic chain and pelvic alignment, advanced pelvic palpation skills (differentiating tissues), and more. Condition focus: pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and pelvic-driven low back pain.

Note: these classes are currently formatted for a female-only learning environment. In the future, Anna does plan to offer all-genders internal pelvic bodywork training for practitioners of all genders.

About Your Facilitator

Anna Burnett specializes in osteopathic manual therapy and internal pelvic bodywork, with over 20 years of experience. She has been a pelvic educator since 2021 through the Pelvic Wellness Collective.

In addition to her commitment to pelvic bodywork, Anna pursues ongoing training in visceral manipulation and neuro-meningeal manipulation through the Barral Institute and is an IAHE teacher’s assistant. Click here to review Anna’s professional education and teaching experience.

Anna first took Leslie’s internal pelvic course (“Entering the Temple”) in 2022, with an appreciation for Leslie’s holistic and practical approach to training. In Anna’s experience, Leslie’s course has been the best choice nationwide for touch professionals looking for a solid foundation in pelvic bodywork skills.

As Leslie moves into a noble cronedom, Anna now continues teaching in her lineage. She graduated her first cohort in June of 2026 and is now enrolling students for spring of 2027.

About Our Lineage

Leslie Stager, RN, LMT has been a foundational pillar for internal pelvic bodywork education since 2012. She taught “Entering the Temple: Bodywork for the Female Pelvic Floor” annually in Oregon and across the country, training hundreds of massage therapists and midwives in this sacred work. This certification course includes all content from Leslie’s “Entering the Temple” class and is taught in honor of her lineage.

Leslie’s career focused on women’s health since the 1980’s. First as a labor and delivery nurse, then as a massage therapist and pelvic bodyworker, Leslie has passionately explored, practiced, and taught about the rhythms, rites, and mysteries of the female body She studied pelvic floor therapy with physical therapists, chiropractors, and osteopaths, including Lee Morgan DO, Tami Kent PT, Bryan Baisinger DC, and Herman & Wallace.

Leslie is the author of Nurturing Massage for Pregnancy: A Practical Guide to Bodywork for the Perinatal Cycle (2009 Lippincott). Integrative pelvic bodywork and maternity massage education are her legacy.
