Internal Pelvic Floor Massage

I am now offering Holistic Pelvic Care™ sessions. This beautiful therapy was developed by Tami Lynn Kent, a physical therapist in Portland. I was trained by Tami earlier this year (2020). The goal of Holistic Pelvic Care™ is to restore physical and energetic balance to the pelvic bowl by working with core patterns of tension, congestion, pain, and imbalance. Techniques include internal pelvic floor massage (using the same, but much gentler versions of the massage techniques I use for the rest of your muscles: myofascial release, soft tissue mobilization, trigger point therapy, etc.), external visceral (organ) manipulation, and guided somatic experiences like breath-work and visualization exercises. For more information, click here.

  • New patient appointment: $120 for 1.5 – 2 hours
  • Follow up treatments: $80 for 45-60 minutes
  • Annual pelvic wellness session: $100 for 75 minutes
  • 6 week post-partum session: $120 for 1.5 – 2 hours

Visceral Manipulation

Visceral Manipulation is a gentle abdominal massage that assesses the relationship between the organs (e.g. uterus, bladder, bowel) and other structures such as muscles, fascia, ligaments, joints, and nerves. When the movement of an organ is restricted by an adhesion, injury, surgery, infection, or poor posture, visceral manipulation can assist the body in unwinding painful restrictions and restoring optimal organ movement and function. Visceral Manipulation was developed in the mid 1980s by world-renowned French osteopath and physical therapist, Jean-Pierre Barral. Through the Barral Institute, I have completed VM1 (2018) and VM2 (2020) and will continue to VM3 and VM4 in the near future. This treatment is incorporated into any other table session (medical, pelvic care) at no additional charge.
